Hi Parents.
I’m Gabrielle Grode, MPH, Parent Coach.
And I’m passionate about supporting families.
I always knew I wanted to be a helper. At Tufts and Temple Universities, I studied psychology, child development, and public health. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked as a public health researcher, honing my skills in active listening and the art of honoring other people’s stories.
I earned my Parent Coach Certification through the Parent Coaching Institute, which is a 1-year, graduate-level coaching program developed with Seattle Pacific University.
I’m also an imperfect mom to 3 unique kids, ages 7 to 13. Morning coffee, nature walks, and impromptu kitchen dance parties are my current delights.
And I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. A few years back, I was struggling like so many parents do. Working with a parent coach transformed my relationship with my child.
I believe in this process.
My Approach
I bring non-judgmental support, insight, and space for reflection. You come just as you are, bringing openness and a willingness to try new things. Together, we discover your path forward.
-
Step 1: Complementary 30-minute consultation to see if coaching is a good fit.
Step 2: You share more about your challenges and what you hope to get out of coaching.
Step 3: We discover the strengths of you and your family. We will call upon these strengths as we work to resolve your difficulties.
Step 4: You envision your preferred future and identify your goals. This provides the map for the coaching path ahead.
Step 5: We design action steps towards your goals. Small steps lead to big impacts.
Step 6: We celebrate your success and discuss how you will sustain your wins.
-

I coach parents with kids of all ages. Topics vary, too.
How do I manage screens and social media?
How can I feel more confident?
How can I make bedtime easier?
How do I connect with my child?
How do I manage sibling rivalry?
How do I discipline or yell less?
How do I handle tweens and teens?
How do I feel more joy in parenting?
Parents may be experiencing a strain in the relationship with their child; feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or guilty; or wondering how to handle specific issues. Parents sense that things can be different, but they aren’t sure what to do or how. As a supportive coach, I help you resolve these tricky parts and find more connection, confidence, and calm in your parenting.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
We hear a lot about the “village” it takes to raise children. But, we are largely on our own. Parent coaching changes the alone. I help provide the support and guidance the village was meant to offer so you can reach your potential.
I already know you are a good parent. You care enough about your family to want things to be different. You’re here, considering parent coaching to do just that.
I can’t wait to meet you.
